The Weather at Home

Anna Schmid

German, Atlantis, 2025

A storm is raging at Rot and Rosa’s house. It’s Dad. He’s loud and howling like the wind. Dad is as changeable as the weather; sometimes he’s as gentle as a light breeze, then once again the doors slam and the walls freeze. But when the storm subsides, the sun shines: Dad laughs, dances with Mum and cooks for the family. Rot wants to protect her little sister Rosa. But when the storm no longer ends, the sisters set out to find a safe place.
